Behind the Scenes, Where It Matters
I am not the person in front of the camera. I am the one designing the systems, managing the projects, and ensuring everything works as it should. For over 25 years, I have operated behind the scenes across the UK finance, property, and technology sectors — from Morgan Stanley and EY to independent consulting and property portfolio management.
My earliest business education came as a teenager, working in my father's souvenir business in central London — managing stock, coordinating staff, and learning that business is about people first.
Today, I channel that experience into MyHaVn — a technology platform focused on protecting women and individuals affected by domestic violence. Built on evidence-based research and strict confidentiality, because privacy is not a feature. It is the foundation.
The Foundation of a Problem-Solver
Growing up with two younger sisters, I developed an early awareness of personal safety and protective responsibility. As a teenager, I managed operations in my father's souvenir business in central London — stock, staff, and day-to-day accountability. "It was an education in time management and people skills," I reflect. "You learn quickly that business is about people first."
I later earned a degree in Global Marketing and International Tourism, but it was that hands-on foundation that shaped my approach.
